After years of accumulating equipment, I’ve decided to have a bit of a clear-out.

Please feel free to contact me regarding any of these items. I’m happy to listen to reasonable offers.

Alesis Midiverb 4 – £50

Home studio clear-out. Looking to downsize my rig and sell off a few pieces. This is a midiverb 4 I’ve had for about 5 years. A few minor rack knocks and small scratches but in good condition. Been racked until recently and awaiting a new owner.

Comes with mains power and manual.

See the usual Sound On Sound article for some more info…

photoAlesis 3630 Stereo Compressor/Gate (2x available) – £50 each

Two of the first compressors I ever bought for my rig are now no longer needed and are better suited elsewhere. Both are in great condition with original power supplies. I think I have the manuals also, but I need to dig them out. Both have been tested and are working fine. If you are looking for a simple unit that will give you compression, limiting and gating in a small 1u rackspace, then this is pretty good bang for buck.

Phonic T8300 Tube Enhancer – £70

Home studio clear-out. Looking to downsize my rig and sell off a few pieces. This Phonic T8300 was a fun little box I picked up on tour to get some tube warmth going on up front. You get some fun ways of messing with your harmonics and timbre with this thing.

Sound on Sound notes:
The T8300 is a two-channel device designed to enhance the low and high extremes of the audio spectrum. As with other enhancer-type devices, the high-end processing opens up the sound making it more airy and transparent, and there’s a choice of enhancement characters.

Behringer Mic2200 Microphone Preamp and EQ – £50

Home studio clear-out. Looking to downsize my rig and sell off a few pieces. This Behringer Mic2200 got me out of lots of sticky situations when I desperately needed those two channels of mic pre! A really simple mic pre unit with a bit of sound shaping available through an onboard EQ.

If you’re looking for a simple mic pre to tack onto your mbox of soundcard, this one does the job pretty well ;-)

TLA A1 Mic PreTL Audio Ebony A1 Dual Mono Class A Mic Preamp  - £300

I have too many pres at the moment and just lightening the load. The unit is in fantastic condition and looks almost new, with a few little racking marks on the ears. These are great for adding a nice tube sound to your signal chain, or even running your mixes through them for a bit of saturation.

Alesis Performance Pad – £75

If like me you have no space for drums, acoustic or electric, and you just need to pound something without upsetting the wife… give this a shot! The Alesis performance pad has all these features to shake your sticks at…

8 velocity-sensitive drum pads with dynamic articulation, built-in professional drum machine so you can record and play back your own beats, 50 presets, 50 user drum kits with 233 sounds…

Comes with manuals and cables. And I’m sure I have some drum sticks kicking around you can have too! In very good condition – I was handy enough not to smash the plastic around the pads. The surface of the pads is also in great condition.

photo 1Nikon D50 Camera w/ 18-55mm kit lens and bag – £220

Excellent entry level DSLR camera!

After a few years of enjoyable use, I’m finally moving on from my Nikon D50. I’ve included the original Nikon 18-55mm Kit lens, a nice carry case, SD card and some books regarding the D50 and photography which I no longer need. Selling as I am saving to upgrade.

Photography books also included.
